Nintendo is known for creating iconic game characters from Mario, Link (from the Zelda series), Pikachu and other characters that are seen in the Super Smash games – my personal favorite would be Kirby.

I’ve started playing Kirby using a PC emulator during my senior year in secondary school. I’ve started with the very first Kirby game so that I could appreciate the character as I go along with the game series. When I got my very first Nintendo DS Lite, one of the very first game I got was a Kirby game – since then I became very attached to the character. When the Good Smile Company announced its very first Kirby figure, I was very excited to get my own figure, of course I got mine from a trusted reseller – Hubbyte Toy Store.

The box for the Nendoroid Ice Kirby figure is relatively smaller than the first Kirby release. Although if you’re worried that the smaller packaging would have lesser accessories than the first one, then you would probably reconsider because the Nendoroid Ice Kirby set packs a lot of accessories that would go well together with the first set release.

The set includes the regular Ice Kirby parts and face plates (similar to the first release, although color is Blue), it has an additional pink color sleeping face plate, head gear for the Ice ability, ice breath and the sliding ice effect, fighting ability gear – headband, parasol and the additional stands for the effects and for Kirby.

The structure for the Kirby Nendoroid figure is very different from the standard armed and legged versions of a typical Nendoroid figure – this figure is magnetized so that you can attach the arms and the feet on its circular body. The connecting peg for the face and the back is a screw type connector.

What I really like about this figure that the possibility of posing this figure is quite endless – especially if your imagination is very broad.

I highly recommend this figure, especially if you’re into collecting Nintendo figures. Imagine having all the Nendoroid figures together (you may even include figma releases) to create your very own Super Smash Bros figure collection.
