Toys on the Go: Nendoroid Edition

If you’re like me, the person who likes to take photos of their toys, you might me wondering – how do I store my toys in my bag? With some years of trial and errors, I’ve found out how to efficiently carry your toys when you travel or when you go out to take photos of them.

The secret is: “a seal bag” a.k.a. zip lock plastic bags.

It’s very easy to find different sizes of seal bags; I found an all-in-one pack at DAISO for only P88 ($1.75 USD). You may check out some Japan novelty stores around your area, I’m sure you’ll see something similar.

What I liked about this bag would be that it has provisions for the labels.

Also, this set includes different seal bag sizes – from small to big seal bags – which would perfectly cater to your toys’ parts.

As you can see from the image above, I have segmented my Nendoroid according to its parts and from which set it was. I also grouped some accessories from the same character, for example Red Trainer accessories and the Red Champion accessories. The Pokeballs are stored in one seal bag as well.

You may opt to remove the parts of the Nendoroid figures or you may keep it as is, just like what I did.

The bases are also stored in one set of seal bags.

Since you’ve already packed your toys in a seal bag – it’s not time to find the right container for it. Personally, I liked the LivinBox TB-300 container because it has a partition for the accessories and a bigger partition for the other parts. I got mine at a discounted price at TrueValue, you may also check out other portable containers from your hardware store, thrift shops or novelty stores.

Alternatively, you may opt to get an organizer where in you can change the panels depending on the size of the accessories – this looks like a medicine box – but this cannot fit the entire Nendoroid body.

Well that’s it for the first “Toys on the Go” article, I’ll be writing something for the S.H.Figuarts figure soon!
