Nezuko Kamado is one of the prominent characters from the hit anime series of 2020, Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba. Nezuko is the younger sister of the protagonist of the series, Tanjiro. Since this series was a hit, it’s no wonder that this series got a figure adaptation from The Good Smile Company.

Box Design
The box design is quite simple as it kept mainly the white designs with the pink accents on the side reminiscent of the kimono dress that Nezuko wears. Although it would be better if the pattern was similar to her dress but that’s very minor, I guess.
The box also features photos of Nezuko’s possible poses for the figure. Always be sure to get the authentic Nendoroid figures by checking the box and other seal or stickers that could indicate its authenticity. Only get your figures from authorized resellers or dealers.
First Thoughts
The character of Nezuko is very interesting, as she looks very meek and quiet – we all know she’s quite the opposite especially in her current form.
It’s very nice to see the interpretation of Nezuko in a figure form, especially for the Nendoroid line. It’s not surprising that it retained its look even for the pattern of her kimono which is very impressive.
What’s Inside the Box?
The set includes a heft amount of accessories which are necessary for Nezuko – these include her angry face faceplate, punching arm and kicking leg replacement, open skirt, and a kneeling skirt.
The set also includes a box that is compatible with the Nendoroid Tanjiro figure. The standard figure stand and base are also included in the set.
Figure Articulation and Details
The Nezuko figure has the standard Nendoroid articulation points, similar to my review for the Jasmine Nendoroid figure, Nezuko also has interchangeable arms and hands.
The back of the dress is also divided into two parts and is connected via a ball joint.
The leg part of the Nezuko figure is also connected via a T-type ball-jointed articulator which can be replaced with any of the interchangeable legs that comes with the set. You just feed to snap off the leg to the ball joint and snap back in the leg that you want to try on.
The skirts can be interchanged by pulling out the upper part of the figure and replacing the part and reattaching it via the peg connector. Arrows are engraved to signify which part of the skirt should be facing upfront – very wise attention to detail.
The demon faceplate is done very nicely, the details of the veins and the angry expression – even though she is still cute looking – was spot on!
The bamboo muzzle is connected to the hair of the figure, it’s quite tricky to attach once you replace the head but it’s very doable.
The thing I like most about this figure when it comes to the details is the skirt print. They’ve engraved the patterns rather than doing a print which is very admirable because it gives depth to the figure’s total look. The two-tone color of the hair and her pink eyes were also nicely detailed and painted.
Overall Rating
Since the Demon Slayer anime series is quite new and if you’re planning to collect all the Nendoroid figures in this series, well, you’re still in time to do so!
